Taking centre stage in our new September Issue campaign for our Clifton collection of luggage and coordinating Chelsea bags, Bianca has modelled for brands including Gucci and Burberry. We caught up with her before she jetted off to the Italian Riviera for a well-earned four week break, to talk travelling, polaroids and why Paris is her favourite fashion week.
Tell us about your modelling career so far.
I’ve been modelling since I was 13 but only for 4 years as a full-time job. I love that every day is different, I get to meet so many new and interesting people. Though it can be difficult being away from my family for most of the year.
What has been your career highlight?
Walking for Burberry for their Fall ready to wear collection in the summer of 2017 - it was an amazing experience.
What do you wish someone had told you before you started?
To enjoy and appreciate each moment and not to take anything too seriously!
Do you often travel for work?
Yes, I’m lucky to travel quite frequently for work. It's good because it means I travel to places I normally wouldn’t go. As it’s usually for a job, it does mean I can’t stay longer to see more of the locations I’m in, but it's still great to have the chance to explore more of the world than I would see otherwise.
Which is your favourite fashion week?
My favourite fashion week would have to be Paris because some of my favourite brands show there. It’s also the last one of the month so it always has great energy. This season I'm actually taking a break and going to Italy for a month, I can’t wait!
What do you never leave home without?
My portable charger and my lip balm!
Any travel trips for busy trips?
Always have an overnight bag packed with essentials. That way, if you need to head off in a hurry, you’re sorted!
What's your favourite destination?
That's a hard one! It would probably be Thailand!
Which is your favourite city for fashion and why?
London as there is such a diverse group of people here and it really shows in the fashion industry. London is also my favourite city to work in because I feel like I can really be myself here.
Where are you off to next?
I’m heading to the Italian Riviera in two days!
What is the one surprising thing you carry in your hand luggage?
A Polaroid of my family and my boyfriend.
What do you look for in a piece of luggage?
I look for an unusual colour so it stands out, and a hard case is a must.
What do you think of the new collection?
I’m absolutely in love with all the pastel colours! I also love how the overnight bag can fit perfectly on any of the suitcases.
