The travel stories that can only be lived, told by the people who live them.
For Chrissy Rutherford (@chrissyford), New York is sensory overload. People talking and shouting, cars whizzing by, things happening and people always moving. It’s a city that never seems to stand still – and that’s exactly what she loves about it.

As a creative entrepreneur whose life moves between New York and London, travel is woven naturally into Chrissy's everyday. But it's the places that give her a sense of energy, connection or home that stay with her.
“There's New York and then there's everywhere else.”
Chrissy Rutherford
But travel for Chrissy is about more than finding a favourite neighbourhood or restaurant. When she returned to Jamaica with her dad at 30, having last visited when she was five, she felt an immediate sense of home. It was the island where her parents were born – a place that connected her to family, culture and a part of her own story.
“Travel for me is expansion, it’s abundance, it’s how I learn more about myself and the world at the same time.”
Chrissy RutherfordThat sense of discovery is what keeps Chrissy travelling. To experience life outside of your own, discover new cultures and see yourself from a different perspective.
